We did the amsterdam catacombs, which plays in the real catacombs of an old church.
This is not a traditional escape room. The immersive story plays a key role here. It is supported at all times by the extremely detailed decoration, a very dense and creepy atmosphere, great puzzles and especially the awesome "game masters". Everything flows together so well.
My new favorite "escape game" and definitely worth the weekend trip to Amsterdam.February 28, 2024

OscarI was spending a couple of days with my partner in Amsterdam and we decided to try The Catacombs as we both love Escape Rooms and horror stories. It honestly was one of the best moments of our trip, to the point that we decided to do their other escape room: Elisabeth's secret. It was also an amazing experience! The storytelling, the actors, the puzzles... everything is carefully designed and perform facilitating one of the best escape room experiences we've had (and we've escaped from over 20 rooms so far). In a nutshell, I would 100% recommend both rooms but if you're planning to do The Catacombs, think twice if you're easily scared :D

Ryan WeekesOur first escape room, absolutely loved every second of it. Would recommend them highly, a little out of the way but well worth it. Hoping To go back in the new year for the new room!!!
